The Time Travellers by William Martin
James and Joe were time travellers and had travelled back 6,000,000 years ago. They were with the cavemen.
James and Joe tried to speak with the cavemen but the cavemen didn’t understand: ‘Oooh ooooh ooooh’ they said.
One of the cavemen raised his club and took aim and swung it at James and Joe. Luckily it missed and hit a tree an then they ran for it.
They ran to the back of a dark cave. They thought they were trapped! Then they saw the time machine. They got in and travelled forwards in time to 2009.
They were happy they were back and were happy the cavemen no longer existed.
