The Race
Finally, the big race was coming up. Everyone was jumping out of their seats with excitement. Lewis and his team were putting the last of the pieces on to the world championship winning McLaren F1 car. The Beaver and his friends were putting the nuts in his car. Then they went for a warm up lap. Lewis went fast and the Beaver was slow, slow, slow. It appeared to be obvious that there was going to be a clear winner. The cars revved as the lights turned green. With a big, thundering roar, the cars raced off.
But Hamilton had a plan to beat the world record. To do this he would race without a pitstop. It was the final lap and Lewis was in the lead by three laps. He was just about to go over the finish line but he stopped. “Oh no, he has run out of fuel,” shouted the crowd. Very slowly, the Beaver crossed the finish line and won!
